The NSW Government's Home Energy Saver Loan gives eligible households access to 0% interest finance of up to $15,000 towards approved energy upgrades — helping more families take control of their energy use, reduce their reliance on the grid, and make their homes more energy efficient.

Home Energy Saver loans are funded by the NSW Government and delivered by Brighte. Eligible customers can access:

Up to $15,000 at 0% interest

Flexible repayment terms of up to 10 years

No interest charges, administration fees and no fee for early repayment*

*$4.99 late payment fee late payment fee may be applied if you miss a repayment (Late fees are capped at $49.90/year) with Brighte.

Who can apply?

You may be eligible if:

  • Your property is located in NSW
  • You own the property (owner-occupier or landlord)
  • Your household taxable income is up to $210,000 per year
  • You meet Brighte's credit assessment requirements
  • You are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Your property is not social housing or used for short-stay accommodation
